POST UP folks!

The three FJ Cruiser Trail Teams are looking for more TLCA/Toyota based events to run with throughout the rest of 2006 - if your club is hosting an event or is organizing a club ride, get it posted up so the FJCTT coordinators can determine if they can schedule you in!

Do you want them attending JeepJambo's and Rock Crawl comps, or do you want them on the trails with you, and letting you drive??

c'mon people, let's fill up their calendar!! :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:

This is a great opportunity to see what the FJ can do, but actually drive one. They are very capable. Rising Sun did a snow run with them in February. We ran Chinamans Gulch with them in April and I was really impressed with what they could do:

They also attended Cruise Moab in Force and there are lots of pictures in the Cruise Maob thread even one going up Hells gate.

just got back from CMCC and got a chance to hang out with this crew.
GREAT people! These aren't 'Toyota marketing' people folks. They don't even *work* for Toyota if I understand it correctly, just contracted. They know what they are doing and do some pretty cool stuff with these vehicles.

They took a stock FJ Cruiser up Voodoo in Paragon for pete's sake...
.................

Anyway, it's not an *official* club type event, but the East Coast Pig Run looks to be shaping up nicely this year!

there's no electricity or *facilities* so they can't do their whole shebang setup, but I'm sure they would enjoy the break from all that ;)

Maggie (sp?) and crew are MORE than welcome to attend if they find the time!

Here's the Moab Thread on the Rising Sun board. Yep, lotsa FJCs! We had 4 trail teams with 5 FJCs, two FJCs from Revtek suspension and two more that regular participants brought.

McGrew Trail Run

They will be attending the TLCA / PMC 6th Annual McGrew Trail Run, O'Brien, OR, July29 & 30. PM me an e-mail for run details.

Maureen?!? I thought she went by Maggie? well if not, sorry Maureen! (hope the Pig Run T makes up for the mistake :D )

East Coast Trail Team members Tim, Will and Danielle were all lots of fun! I didn't get to talk with Jonathan much but he seemed one of the crew

Anyway, invite these folks to your event! if nothing else they cook a mean hamburger with fried onions!!!

I second Klunky (Jr. Spaceman) on having the FJTT come to the world famous Pig Run at Rausch Creek in August!

Have them bring the 2007.5 fj cruiser out that has the removable hard top...can't wait to see it ;)

august 19 at Rausch Creek...

Saw 4 FJ Cruisers headed through Grass Valley with their trailers today. Must be headed to Rubithon. Wonder what they were doing in Grass Valley on the side roads, maybe stopping by 4x4 labs.

I talk to luke at 4x4 labs the other day and he said he had been very busy, installing lifts and such on the FJ Cruisres for the Rubicon.......... so yeah they were there

That's interesting. Originally, they wanted these FJCs to be as close to stock as possible to demonstrate what they can do right off the show room floor. Only aftermarket goodies were supposed to be the ARB bull bars and ARB fridges. Next thing you know we (Rising Sun) go tearing up the skid plates and now two of them have full belly armor from Jonathan at TLC, and two others have custom plates made by a Rising Sun member who runs a Toyota shop. Now a lift??? What's next? SAS?

Tree,

That's exactly what they were doing. Master Luke installed a lift kit on them for Rubithon.
