So... what if we can't find our body tag? I have looked all over the engine compartment, firewall, fenders, inside the cab... nothing. Heck, i can't even find the depressions in the metel where a tag might have been fastened.
Is there some place where i haven't looked? :bang:

That sounds like my FJ45LV. The only numbers are on the frame horn. No VIN plates, or evidence of there being one once, anywhere. Anyone know what a '67 LV should have?

Is this a Central American thing, no VIN plate needed so Mr. T saved $0.05 on each truck?

I have two 67 LV wagons, one is a early 67 with the vin plate on the fire wall, The later model has the vin plate on the passenger side fender below the horn relay.

No marks in either location. Of the ones pictured above in post #31, do any of them match what is in your trucks?

I have personally seen the tag on markieboy1's LV and although close it is not exactly like the factory tags on my LV's which are very similar to those shown on post #1 by Atlasx. But if that is all you have it may be ok for you. I would want mine to be a little closer to the original. In the muscle car industry, reproduced VIN tags are a huge no no and very frowned upon. And considered illegal in some places, I think. Again, for an LV this old and rare, maybe know one would know the difference, but? If anyone could do it, I think it would be Atlasx

I'm a little concerned that I'll get flak for not having a tag at all. After all US and Canadian vehicles had tags in '67.

Repro tags

I don't think the guy is making them any more.

Hello, I am looking for a custom glovebox shifter plate to go in a FJ45 with a 4L60e Automatic transmission and standard L-pattern HJ60 transfer case. Does anyone know any one doing them currently? Thanks!

I am chasing one of the above for my project. Any chance anyone has any?
Have you thought about taking the picture to a local trophy engraver?

Or taking an original 3-spd or 4-spd shift diagram plate and the automatic shift diagram picture and ask if the can “create” the info from the picture of the automatic?
