I put

I went with the X Bull 14.5K the controls will not fit on top unless you move the power steering cooling line. I installed the controller on the passenger side of the winch. I’m going relocate the p/s cooler. Then I can put it where it belongs.
14.5k is a massive pull rating for a gx. You’ll need some really heavy duty shackles and gear to use that safely. Winch should always be the weakest link.

Would you guys be interested in making a 3/4 roof rack? I love the one you guys have, but my significant other would prefer uninterrupted sunroof bliss. Her words.

Have you looked at the Gamaviti racks? They're different lengths and provide clear openings for the sunroof, which is what I wanted when I ordered mine.

No, I guess that's on me since I'm still relatively new to the 'Yota world and don't know all of the aftermarket players. While that is certainly a nice rack ( 🤪 ), I was looking for something that had the rack and wind fairing starting just after the sunroof.

Something like this, but without having to use the 4Runner or GX rails, would be perfect.

Doing a little back woods wheeling to check on the family moon-shine still pictured behind you?

Check out the LFD Offroad crossbars. They hold plenty of weight and transfer it into the stock rails, which are also capable of holding plenty of weight. OEM crossbars are the weak point and all those laser cut steel racks look like trash after 5 years, leaking rust streaks down your paint. LFD crossbars are still laser cut steel, but there is less of it overall if you go that route.

I saw them but my main concern is mounting a swing-out awning to them. That's something that the girl would like at the beach, so I must find a way to make it happen without ruining the sunroof.

Good to see one in the wild!!!! How did the install go? I've watched the video, and it "seems" pretty straightforward. Any "gotchas" to look out for? Still hoping mine comes this month.
I installed mine over the weekend with a couple friends. Victory's install video is quite good.

If I were doing this again, I'd try to mock up a template out of cardboard to get a better feel for the bumper cuts. We had to do a few rounds of trimming, test fitting, and more trimming.

Otherwise follow the video, keep some wiggle room in all the bolts while you get everything lined up and threaded, and bring a skinny-armed friend or be ready to get creative with swivels/extensions.

For those who are getting new full bumpers for their 10-13 GX . Victory sent button head screws and nuts to replace the plastic pop in rivets for the center of the bumper cover. It’s much more secure and holds the grill much more secure. I would also recommend using a 1/16” cut off wheel.

Still dreaming, and waiting. Ordered 4+ months ago... Was hoping to put it on over Christmas, but looks like it'll be a President's day project instead... Maybe Flag Day... :(

What did you order? Victory stunned me by turning around my Blitz bumper in five weeks.

I was hoping to order in the next couple of weeks and have it before April/May. I may hold off on that.

Strike front bumper, no hoop. Supposed to be "in production", so I'm hoping to be surprised.

I only can hope that this economy gets turned back around. What we're dealing with now is just nuts. It's not just Victory, it's everything. I don't blame them. Crazy times.

I got the "shipped" email pretty quickly after the "in production" email.

I skipped the powder-coating on mine, and I have a feeling that that helped speed things up. I'm going to throw bed liner on it when it gets here on Friday.

Not sure if Victory has the same issues as RSG Metalworks. It was about several weeks JUST for the powder coating. The vendor they use was all backed up.
Albeit, it was worth the wait.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Victory/JCR do their powder-coating themselves.

But for all we know there's a backlog or just a supplies shortage. Only they really know, which is kind of the crappy part about this. I wish that they were a little more open on the forums.

I can confirm they do the powder coating themselves. Im actually up in Michigan right now and was fortunate enough to have Brian give my father and I a tour of their manufacturing facilities.
