Hm. That's an awkward fix. You're missing a decent chunk. Packing tape and wax can make a good temp mold, on a piece of foam or wood you carve to the right shape.

I have those rear 61 flares, it's possible they're the same profile, could maybe cut and paste?

And while I'm in the iso thread, I need an hj60 power steering pressure line. The weird one with the big banjo fitting.

1. 70 Series Front Left Fender Flare...or someone who is competent at fiberglass work.

2. 70 Series Rear Door Hinges that have tight pins.

I bet you can drill out the hinges to fit an Oilite® Bearings | Oilite® Bushings | Beemer Precision, Inc. bushing. Once you insert the bushings and replacement pin (if needed), you’ll have a hinge that’ll outlast the truck.

The hinges in 40 were worn egg shaped. I drilled them to fit off the shelf bushings. After drilling out the holes I tapped in Oilite® Bearings | Oilite® Bushings | Beemer Precision, Inc. bushings. A little work with a file and now they swing beautifully. At about $1.50 a piece CDN, you can redo all your doors for about $6 a door. They’re permanently lubed and will last for decades.

I thought Keith had a set of flares unwanted.
@GTSSportCoupe just replaced hinges not too long ago. Maybe find out where he got
his from

@PeeZed I have a set of 70 series hinges from my truck you can have if you want. They have a bit of play, but nothing that can't be adjusted out if you want. I bought new ones, but they set me back a fair bit; probably not the best use of my funds, lol.

Anyone know if it's possible to find a landcruiser rear axle pinion (stake) nut at any autoparts store in Victoria area? Would rather not have to order one in if possible.... They're the same for all landcruiser models if I remember correct. Lordco had nothing...

Rear pinion seal started leaking after I whipped my donkey too hard towing in this HOT weather back from Campbell River yesterday. Have new seal in hand; just need a nut.

You can have this new one if you order me another next time you place a parts order

So I'm developing quite a pile of rhd hj61 stuff to get rid of.

All the AC parts, condenser coil is pretty ropey looking but it's all there.
There'll be the whole dash minus bits and pieces
Clutch master and booster. Master only a year or so old.

@ColinStuart is the only guy I can think of with an rhd hj, but that was a few months ago so he's probably changed vehicles 8 times since then

Let me know if anyone wants something.

$ = or free depending.

Anyone looking for a yard truck/pickup??? Next door neighbour is moving and has two trucks.
1-Chevy/GMC 1500 regular cab 4x4 auto.
2-Chevy/GMC 2500 extended cab 4x4 auto.
Both are late 80's/early nineties or so i think.
Come have a look, make her an offer. (a few hundred bucks or so).
PM me and/or come on by. Located in the Highlands, up from Costco.
#2- is a "heavy half" i guess with 6 bolt axles 3/4 ton.

Hi Seapotato.
Have you got the compressor for the AC available, and is it mounted on the left side of the engine?
I converted my 62 from 3fe to 2H, and kept that compressor, but the piping ports interfere with my 2H AC engine bracket.
TIA

Hey, well it's kindof a yes and no...

I have it, but I wanted to see if I could maybe adapt the 24v clutch onto a york compressor or something.

Also my AC didn't work, and the compressor looked oily, so I suspect it wasn't much good anyways.

The piping manifolds from the 24v compressor will fit on the 12v one from the 62. That is the main difference in the two compressors.

Thanks Too Tall.
That's what I was thinking.

Anyone have an old gutter mount roof rack bar or two? I scored a single rusty bar with mounts off an old van but can't do much with one lonely bar. Doesn't matter if it's rusty or whatever the one I've got needs work anyways.

There's a guy looking for a "manual 60 series steering box" on FB. Anyone got one laying around?
