WANTED! Comox valley area.

3b engine mount/s for a 40
3b exhaust manifold gasket
3b push rod cover gasket
3b rear main seal

Thought I'd throw it out here before ordering online. If anyone has any of these kicking around, let me know. Thanks!

You seem to have been through a few bj60's. Maybe you should have saved some parts for the future? Cummings is Burton's last name. What exactly are you looking for for electrical parts? Lamenting on here about how scarce cruiser parts are now here on the island is the fault of members of members in this club. Maybe you should think about why it is easier to find stuff for our trucks in Texas than it is here. I have quite a lot of various parts for 60's and 40's but I am reluctant to sell them to anyone around here who is just going to build up a truck to sell it to the US. The short term gain that a few have garnered will cost all of us as cruiser heads around here for many years to come. It will get harder and harder in the years to come due to the opportunistic greed of these members.

I have never sold a cruiser. I have killed many and crushed a couple due to life's uncertaintees. I did trade one for my 12 valve. Not a drop of guilt over here.

Sounds like a job for the printer at work....
I just printed a few pages from a PDF copy. They’re barely good. I think the
quality is reduced at they get reproduced and reduced every time they get passed
on. I’d prefer an original book. I found one in Australia but I had to join PayPal, google
and some other damned thing.
thanks for the links though! Sure certainly appreciate it

The Ebay one is genuine original Toyota print from the looks of it. But $$$.

Yeah the PDFs that are from scanned copies kinda suck. I have one for my 12ht, I usually just print the couple pages I need.

The REAL PDFs are nice tho.

I have a real one for my little Celica, searchable, chapter tabs work... actually really nice to use.

I have the real pdf manuals for my engine. Definitely a very nice thing to have. In fact I bought the paper ones too, but tend to use the pdfs more because it's so fast to find stuff.

Taking my 24v alternator to BRAE on Monday based on recommendations here and the fact that when I called they seemed confident they could fix it. The original place I took it wasn't able to source parts so hopefully BRAE is the winning ticket.

I've always been please with their service. Had a number of alternators repaired their before. I think you'll walk away happy.

Seen on Facebook, not mine

Not on FB. Any chance you could get details? Wheel size & BS? What are they off of.
tire size?
They seem to be gone now. 31 x 10.5 r 15 if memory serves me correctly. 250$ and it looked like they had their nibs still. At that price they may have been sold before I saw them... just not updated.

Ill look again to be sure

edit. I searched by name... over a week ago he was looking for one to add to his 3 to make a set of 4. None are listed now.

next time I’ll save a link so I can be certain what happened,

ISO 33'' x10.5 or 12.5 R 15. Just need a somewhat decent spare. Also looking for a BJ60 power steering Cap and reservoir or whole pump.

X2

I’m looking for a 33x10.50 R15 for a spare also in case you find a pair. I have a 12.5 currently and would like a 10.5 BFG instead.

Let us know how it works out, I have my old 24v 12ht alternator that had the same issue as yours if I'm remembering right...and I should probably be prepared for the one in my trucks inevitable bed s***ting.

Got a call this afternoon from BRAE. They put my alternator back together and tested it (I brought it to them apart as that's how I got it back from first guy). Works fine apparently. With external regulator they are wondering if it was hooked up incorrectly. I installed a new one a couple months ago and hooked the wires up same as PO. Maybe they ain't right?!? Anyways, I'm bringing the regulator in tomorrow morning so they can wire it directly to alternator so it's stupid simple for me on my end.

I may have wires leftover when I reinstall...the mystery continues.

I'll keep you posted.
