60 or 70 series front axle with manual hubs in decent shape.

All I really need are spindles/hubs/and free wheel assembly (both sides with associated axle nuts and hub cone washers etc). I don't need the axle shafts/housing/knuckles/birfields/brakes. But if someone wants to sell the entire front axle intact, I'll definitely consider it.

I'm not sure of the various models of 60 series axles; but I believe they'll work for me as long as the axle hub end is 30 spline. And any of the manual hub 70 series ones should work I believe.

I'm looking to get rid of my e-hubs. They gave me a bit of grief last week for the first time since I initially rebuilt them ~7 years ago. I've been meaning to get to pulling apart the front axle again for another service. I'm a little more motivated now, and would like to dump the e-hubs while I'm in there....

Not from Vancouver Island but I’m looking for a BJ60 manual steering box. I was hoping you guys could help me.
Any 60 series steering box will do if its the same year or close to yours. You should be able
to find one down there.
If you want to get a premier rebuild then I recommend these guys,
save yourself a lot of trouble.

I'm seeing 60 front axle assemblies from $180-250. I'm willing to pay that much guys..... Don't want to have to go on the ferry....

Only fellow I could find with that handle is into 100 series and down in the US somewhere. Is that who you mean?

Despite popular opinion, I’m actually looking to convert my truck to manual steering with one of these boxes.

Ok, then just cap the box off and remove the lines. Make sure you leave fluid in it. Then you have manual.
I can sell you a larger diameter 70 series steering wheel, cause you might want the extra torque! LOL!

This is why I’m trying to find a manual box. A manual box and a depowered box are two very different animals. The manual box has an appropriate ratio for added mechanical advantage.
From people I’ve talked to the manual steering 60s are very pleasant and manageable.

Here’s a manual box

Sorry, I'll shoot you a PM. I was getting too many messages from people asking for help with their 2LT powered vehicles...LOL. So I set it so people could not initiate PM.

@GTSSportCoupe I have late 40 series spindles and nuts (same as 60 series) you can have for a case of cheep beer. The warn hubs should fit yours if the Asian do you can have those too if you want..

I think I have most everything to set you up but the Asian hubs, studs, cone washers. I ordered a new set from trail gear a while back for too much $ Trail-Gear Super Metal Hub Stud Kit, for 2 Hubs (300578-1-KIT)

Hey @too tall , thanks very much for the link. I did think about buying the AVM units, but decided in the end I'd rather just stick with OEM Toyota parts.

Hey @stevebradford. I've got a line on a 60 front axle a guy in Central Saanich is selling. Sounds like he's willing to sell a front seperately. $500 · Toyota land cruiser 60 solid axles That said, I'd definitely be willing to buy that stud kit set from you. Would be nice to use some new hardware when I do the install. I'll shoot you a PM.

New price and sounds desperate too bad it’s a gasser
