Howdy Mudders,
2006 LX470 - $17,900
195,XXX miles (I still drive it once a week on my dull, 8 mile commute)
VIN: JTJHT00W364019784
Selling the rig after 4 great years of ownership. I took a stock, 1 owner SoCal LX470, made some small modifications and some fantastic memories. After moving to Northern Virginia last year, I just haven't been able to take advantage of the vehicle due to work/life schedules. I'll probably be scouring Mud in a couple years for a 200 series or a 3/4 ton that can tow when I move again but not much sense in hanging on to the LX until then. I have another car I can get groceries in...
I'm the second owner. Extensive maintenance records at Lexus for the first owner including an additional full flush of all fluids before it sold at 144K.
No accidents. Clean title. Registered in MN until Aug 2024 but I physically live in VA.
Modifications:
Dissent Front Bumper with Rigids
Come-up 12.5rs and Blue Sea 600A/900A cutoff, Factor 55 Prolink
Dissent Full Aluminum Skid Plates
Dissent No Cut Rear with Dual Swing Tire/Table and Aluminum Tray.
KTRS-79 Rear Springs to hold the extra static weight
BT45-TOY Bluetooth and a couple USB ports
LT275/70R18 Grabber ATXs installed at 144K
A couple other small things like LED interior lights, Cruiser Garage AC drain, Wits' End Center Console Organizer, etc. that punch above their weight
Heater Ts done at 144K
Timing Belt Combo done by SD Trux at 180K. This included replacing the cam seals, crank seals, water pump, idlers, etc.. Flushed the hydraulic fluids.
New alternator installed at the stealership in 2022.
M1 full synthetic every 5K.
AmsOil Severe Gear for the difs.
M1 Delvac for TCase.
AHC works. Hi, low (tried it for the first time in four years to make sure), and ride quality adjustments.
AC blows cold on the worst July DC day. Heat melts faces on the north pole.
Mirrors dim and fold. Garages bow down to the commands of the Homelink.
Nav system works. Mark Levinson system works.
Included with sale:
Couple hundred bucks worth of fluids if you want them (OEM Power Steering, AHC, M1 5w30, Dif/TCase, etc.).
Wired and wireless remote for winch.
Anything vehicle specific I have that you're interested in keeping. I'll be out of the 100 series business.
Quirks / Notes:
It's a 17 year old Land Cruiser at heart so despite the interior being in great condition... the driver's seat has developed a small tear in the last year or so.
During a deluge, you'll get a few drips from the moonroof on the passenger side.
Steering wheel moves up and down but does not telescope.
Parking brake has been in-op since before I bought it. I meant to explore this but quickly forgot about the problem until just now. Apparently I can get by in life without drifting a 6,000 lbs vehicle.
Some pin striping and other cosmetic marks. Call it a 10 footer.
**I'll do my best to answer any questions / DMs but I will not likely respond until the evenings on most days. I'll probably put up a CL or FB Market add as well.
More pics to follow.
