I can confirm the screen comes with the keyster kit that @cruiseroutfit sells. I just received mine last week.

The carb I just got to rebuild is missing the spring under the aluminum check valve next to the accelerator pump (I don’t know the name of it). Does anyone know the dimensions or can I use a spring from something else? Sorry to highjack but sounds like you all might have open carbs!!!

yeah I lost mine and had to hyjack a bic pen.
When I get home I could find you a photo or maybe @mwebfj60 could give you dimensions cuz he helped ed me when I lost mine.

It’s okay, I took apart my carb that’s on the car and searching for replacement now. Our fancy hardware store that has everything doesn’t have it. Seems like the bic pen’s spring is too large but maybe doesn’t matter. I think a spring from a small motor brush set might be perfect.

For anyone rebuilding carb and the OP, when I had my carb off today I noticed the gasket kit I used last time was missing a pass thru hole on the gasket the goes under the air horn (on the secondary side). The Keyster gasket was correct, the hygrade kit wasn’t. Check out the side by side

I found one pen in my pile, a side by side red/black one from my work that had the perfect spring... I kept the second spring as a backup.

If you find a bic one that is close you can trim and twist the end to fit more snug on the pump as well.

just a online image i found from the JAPAN Keyster website ...

The Keyster gasket was correct, !

But , If someone makes 3-M Die Cut Vinyl Decals I would buy some ...............;)

Issue seemingly fixed.
-Replaced the needle valve seat with the stock one and installed the screen from a spare carb.
-Adjusted float according to above info
-Now seems to runs great, and fuel level is nearly dead even with throttle applied.

If it's not one thing, it's something else. Wasn't able to test drive as one of the valve stem blew it's guts out. Cruiser had been sitting for about 2 weeks. Luckily it didn't go when I was driving it!?
