By the way, the arrangement I made with Coolerman is that when a harness request comes in, I would pitch it over to him. Therefore, if you only need the harness, please feel free to contact him directly at: fj40coolerman@gmail.com. The harness pricing you see on my site is set by him. There is no middleman, no markup.

Both styles of the harness are built with GXL wire using OEM colors. All harness use period correct Toyota connectors and are wrapped with non-adhesive harness tape. You'll definitely get your money's worth!

Awesome. Ive done searches on YouTube trying to see how to make rubber moulds and it does not seem like an easy process.
Next time you're in Boston come by my office. I'll take you through the molding production line. We have about $3 million dollars of mold tooling for several different rubber compounds that I can show you.

I got my care package today! Looks amazing! If you make the floor mats I want one, but it has to be OE Spec with toyota on it. I don't think anyone will bug you about it. If they do it will just be a letter to stop making and selling them. If you only sell them on here and not ebay it will fly under the radar.

The floor mat is in the works, but just the black one for '74 to '78. There is a good chance it can be done by the end of summer. It'll be to OE spec, with a couple of caveats:
1. The Toyota lettering is still a concern. I'm leaning toward just putting it on there and adding my company name on the back, so that people can't eBay it for $1000 bucks claiming it's OEM. The other option is to create a separate logo piece that can be glued on, as someone suggested earlier in the thread.
2. There will be some difference with the grain in the background. If you look at the aftermarket seat covers (e.g. CCOT), you'll know what I mean. Those 70's style grain in the original seats have never been duplicated exactly.

If the black mat is successful made, I'll see if there is demand for the gray one covering '79 and later FJ40's. In the U.S. market, there are fewer of the later cars around.

Floor mat, yeah, I'm in.:smokin:

...And the next logical spinoff project would be a '74-78-ish black cargo mat. Thanks for your work on this!

You could also put your logo at the extreme back edge of the mat, or up under the dash, where it would not normally be seen by the user, but would be there for copyright/trademark purposes.

I plan to put my logo on the reverse side. You won't see it unless you flip it over. It's truly just for the lawyers.

What's up with the cargo mat? That seems to be available from most Cruiser sources.

you sir are making some amazing goodies!

while I don't need any yet(you know I hoarded the OEM) I just wanted to say thanks for taking this on!

I'm in for a replacement floor mat for my 78 even though I have an original mat which is all in one piece but showing its age ... I'd like to save the original mat for "special occasions," lol ... if you can do the lettering on the front, fine, and alternatively, if you have to make subtle changes to keep the lawyers happy that works too ... based on what I've bought from you, I trust your judgement ...
