I'll post a listing in the Vendor Storefront section when it's ready for sale. Mud price for the boot will be $45 shipped to your door.

Excellent. I will need one too

Excellent. I've never been so excited about a piece of formed rubber in my life :D

How good is the rubber you are using? Tell me it will last longer than the cheap aftermarket stuff you see coming from China/Taiwan.

I use a blend of natural rubber and EPDM. It's a modern formulation that is known to be very durable. I don't know if the factory hose had the benefit of such technology back in the day.

Feel free to check with the folks who have bought the hoses. If it makes you more comfortable, I can charge more :hillbilly:

How about an affordable solution for the following?

It's not going to be quick, but I think I can take these on.

you will not be unhappy with the product that city racer puts out. it is outstanding. i am not a chemist, nor do i claim to know much about what he does, but this is not cheep aftermarket stuff from china.

I assume he's talking about the 2 circled pieces. The U.S. spec part #'s are:
Windshield spacer - 56211-90801
Roof seal - 63168-90307

Right I know I was just kidding... I will need that seal when I redo my roof... :) Thanks!

I would also be interested in a roof seal (and probably the windshield seal). I was planning on making my own out of garage weather stripping but this sounds like a viable (better) alternative.

When are the dual diaphragm boosters coming? I've converted to 4-wheel discs, but would love a booster that doesn't block my clutch master cylinder bolt.

I don't have an estimate at this time, but I'll post an update in this thread when there's new progress. It's gotta pass certain key criteria, most notably being plug-and-play and reasonably priced. I don't want to solve a problem half way...

I was halfway kidding, actually - I didn't realize this was even a possibility yet! Keep up the good work!

The OEM cowl vent hoses aren't too bad cost-wise, but the roof seal is up there.
If I had a Cruiser that has those hoses (mine is a 1980 so I don't have it), personally I'd go out and bite the bullet now to pay for OEM. Beno can confirm, but Toyota doesn't seem to keep many of these in inventory. It's going to suck when it's all gone.
