Why not? The shifter holes are not pre-cut.Just realized that if I do an h55 swap the mats will not work......

You are correct @tstepp920. Maybe Roger can make a blank one for those that have other than original transmission and t case setups in his next generation of the floor mat?
The prestamped cutout for the transfer case shifter does not appear to line up where the an h55's shifter will

This is what the mat looked like before install. I cut the holes very easily with a brand new razor blade. Three on the tree-ers won't cut any holes out.

Is there any reason I can't use the tub to hardtop sides seals on my 1970 fj40? It is listed as 73 on I think.

Based on the diagrams, I think 1970 FJ40 only has the side packings and no hardtop to tub seals.
But could I use the later seal instead?

Can you elaborate on this? What would you suggest I buy to create my own custom heater hose / water piping? I'm installing a heater in an FJ4x that never had one from the factory. Used heater components, but can't seem to find a complete set of pipes. I'm willing to create my own, but I'm not creative or imaginative to figure out what to start with.
