Unable to adjust cabin temperature (1 Viewer)

Having issues with my ‘04 LC when trying to adjust temperatures. If I have it on AC and adjust the knob to warm or heat, I can hear “activity” under the dash but temperature stays cold. Last winter when I used the heater, it took it a while to engage and once it did it would just stay super hot, also was unable to adjust temps and switch to a cooler mode. I recently replaced the sensor below the ignition and there is no change.

Note: I deleted the navigation stuff/controls a few year back and went with the manual knobs. Any suggestions?

is the thingy hooked up in the lower dash, the vent tube, it is behind the panel directly in front of your right knee as you sit in the driver seat. right below the key switch.
there are small louvers and a tube hooks up behind it

I hooked it up when I replaced the sensor, but I will double check it again just in case it slipped out
