A good substitute for the 85330-12310 washer pump is Parts Master 172872. $15 on eBay and problem solved.

Thanks for the tip Racer65. I bought the aftermarket pump (reluctantly since it's not Toyota) and installed it.

It was a bit of a tight fit but it did work as you mentioned. Here's a picture showing the wiring. The striped wire is the positve.

The P/N for a 1987 60 is so close, 69057-90A05. Any chance they would work in a 60?

s***, let me just send a PM.

Key cylinder for the ignition - no. FJ60 and 62 key cylinders are not interchangeable.

How do you know? I'm wondering what's different.

I have both and have examined the key cylinders. The 62 has some extra stuff on it so will not fit in the FJ60 key cylinder hole. I think if you were to swap out the key cylinder/ignition switch wiring etc. you could use a 62 setup in a 60.

get a new key cut from the code of vin

Some 60 VIN's show up in the master key code database and some do not. Be aware of this going in.

If it is your original cylinder, then the PS door lock cylinder will have your key code etched into the housing and you can find it from there too to have a key cut.

Isnt it also etched into the inside of the doorskin next to the key cylinder?

at some point when you own enough cruisers........you will be able to open and start any Toyota from the 70-80's........there are very few different key cuts, I want to say around 30-40.

we bought a 77 fj40 last year......with no keys, door opened with fj60 key, motor started with 82 fj40 key.........I told the owner not having keys was NOT an issue ;) Years ago went to look at(and did buy, now Yoopers) 82 fj40.......owner was late....I had it open and running when he showed up ;)

I've got a code book if anyone has their code and needs the key cut profile. This of course assuming you've never been rekeyed. I've not done many 60 ones other than my own, I'm certainly happy to pass along the codes as needed.

Front fender carb vent/gasket. Moreso looking for the gasket itself and can't seem to locate on diagrams. Anyone have input on p/n or availability?

EDIT: Toyota thought it was good to put it under EMBLEM/NAME PLATE... makes sense. Not.

75340-90A00 - LH
75330-90A00 - RH

Unsure if truly available, but I still can't locate gasket. I assume it comes with the louver if it is still available.

Comes as part of the louver, just like the rear side vent grilles.

BTW, on my '86 FJ60 project vehicle I harvested rear side vent grilles from my '84 FJ60 parts vehicle, my '89 FJ62 donor vehicle, and my '86 FJ60 project vehicle. Out of those there were one each uncracked left and right vent grilles, several decent gaskets for each side to choose from, and no good flaps on the vent tube inside the rear pillar. I pulled the best two gaskets, which had hardened almost to the point of being brittle, and soaked them overnight in a 4:1 solution of isopropyl alcohol/oil of wintergreen. Softened them up nicely (but they swelled up a bit) and was able to loosely attach them back on the plastic grilles (spray painted the grilles first with Testors One Coat Lacquer, 1849 Graphite Dust). After a day or two the gaskets shrunk back to a tight fit around the perimeter. Meanwhile, I cut out new flaps using thin rubber coated paper gasket material from NAPA and restapled them to the vent tubes. Both vent tube/grille/gasket assemblies are now back on the '86 FJ60, looking practically brand new.

The grille on the left is after painting, the grille on the right is before painting.
