UC group ski trip???

Alright guys I know quite a few of us out there are ski fans........... so what say ye to a group trip to some where local like Beech, Sugar, Wolf Laurel, or Catalochee???

I am thinking sometime in Feb. and we can make it a day trip or rent a place and have a sking/partying weekend

any intrest??

maybe you can shuttle us up the slopes in the Avocado :grimpimp:.............. it would beat waiting in line for the ski lifts and you would get you wheeling in !!!

I'm up for something but I've already have plans for the second weekend in Feb. I'll be in Snowshoe skiing. lol

I think either beech or sugar offers the best sking in the area........... I think the real question is do we want to make this a day trip or a overnight trip.

I think we need to wait for more feed back before making any real choices, so post up guys and gals....... what do you want?

Catalochee . . . its not the best, but then again its not the worst. It is the closest to the "Upstate" and our new members from Atlanta. Plus, I think JP's Dad just built a place near there. He wouldn't mind, right JP?

party at my place!!! .......... clocked the milage last time I was up there it is 4 miles on the nose from my door to the bottom of the lifts............

I have actually become some what fond of Catalochee, it isn't as big as the other resorts but it is hardly crowded which makes for quick runs up and down, and they have a fairly varied terrain, so in sort I would be down with Catalochee and I can see how the pops feels about me have a few friends over, it most likely would depend on the number of people staying over..... you never know

I'm in lets go, Alex you can come shuttle us to the trails and back. Keep the house nice and warm for us and have some food ready when we get back. Basically serve as our personal bitch for the weekend.

I must be Cuban too! I don't ski or play hockey, but my wife does. You and I will hang at the house, I will bring my pig cooker, and we will be in charge of smoking ribs, Cigars, and drinking aged bourbon.
