I wanted to put this out there and see what everyone thinks. I'm looking to step down to 33x1050x15, I have 35x1250x15 on now and they rub pretty bad near full lock (which I can't reach since I took off my body lift). I am a big fan of BFGs my ATs that I have on now have about 60k on them and look like they could go another 20-30k.

My question is has anyone driven on BFG KM2 mud tires enough to tell me how long they will last for a daily driven vehicle, or will I be better off with a set of ATs?

As much as I would love to tell everyone that I go four wheeling all the time the truth is I put a lot of highway miles on my truck and I don't want to waste a set of tires in a years time. And I don't really have the room to stash an extra set in the garage.

If you don't wheel a ton and they offer the AT in the size you want then stick with the AT. I have had 3 sets of KMs, 2 KM1s and 1 KM2s, if you do not rotate them with every oil change they can wear funny. They will still last well on a vehicle like yours (40K+) I had one set of knock off BFG ATs (Pathfinder was the brand) and they lasted 60K+ with minimal rotation, they finally started wearing funny toward the end.

I have the KM2's on my DD, good road tire for what it is, but honestly if you aren't wheeling much I would stick to ATs. Like Matt said the KM2s can wear a little funny if not rotated regularly and they get noiser with age.

I run 34" Duratracs (285/75/17, an AT) and they are great on and offroad. Good wear so far. I would recommend them for sure. They perform better offroad than some of the MTs I have owned but are still quiet and smooth on road.

Maybe he is hauling the pit bike on HIS roof? ;)

I have sold the chrome looking quick n easy mounts so someone from ONSC. Might as well leave them up there until Friday when I meet them. With 4 kids and camping supplies in the cruiser space will be tight.

Lol wonder how far i would get before the po po pulled me over? Would destroy gas mileage.

Bond...James Bond..
Scored a Beretta Jetfire .25 ACP today.
Anybody remember the movie Dr No?
The Director of 00 made Bond turn in his Beretta for the Walther PPK.
Director mention how it almost got James killed and called it a "Ladie's gun".
Very cute pocket pistol.

My coworker has one. Very cool. Was his grandmothers. It was still in the original plastic and box. Very nice score.

Nice touch was it was a gift from a client. He
knows I like old Bond films and collect firearms.
Happened to see it at an out of state gun show.
I ordered some sweet rosewood grips for it today. Wifey claimed it when I brought it home
today so I figured I'd pretty it up for her.
;-)
I can always put the black ones back on when
on assignment.
:-)

Chilling out at the beach this week. Bluewater resort. Parking is across the street but other than that seems nice.

I had to work an event in Abbeville last night they always have a car show. I took this one for Carp, sweet L6 in a nice pickup.

If you can see it the moon is almost blood red.
