Its taken me four days of on and off reading to catch up on all of the tom foolery, shenanigan havin' ass-hatery thats been going on. I've been gone too long. So let me get this straight......
Marshall has a Shop.
Steve has a shop.
JP is in the greater Augusta area.
Ghen moved back to Vermont...im guessing? Something about being in Kabul?
Richard moved/got a job in Virginia?
Chuck is.....well chuck but with kids.( just kiddin chuck. I got much love and PBR for ya)
David D is still in Pumpkintown. I still owe you big time SIR! I think we agreed on wild turkey if that's still your choice.
Where is the Cuban? I read a few post and they've only mentioned my Airborne brother. Where art thou Cuban?
3Pits has the restaurant up and going and still is the remaining champ of cruiser parts. ( I still have the shackles on my 62 that i bought at a parts swap. I think that was the same swap that richard burned a hole in his skin trying to cut off leafs for his buck truck)
I dont remember Alan being mentioned. But is Alan still around? That was one hell of a 40 he put together.
I know there are a lot of guys from the Atlanta area that Ive met and wheeled with a few times, Rick and Dan, Good to see our Atlanta brothers still with us. I'll be in your area a good bit. My girlfriend is from Alpharetta so I'll be back and forth until she moves to the upstate.
For those that I don't know or don't know me. My name is Matt J. I've been away from the club since 05-06 and I apologize for that. I've missed out on a lot but at the same time grown up A LOT. Sometimes you need your ass kicked and you have to find your own path and I think I've done that. I hope to be back from all this madness by the end of this year or at the latest, early next year. I'll be home for break from June 21- July 20th. Fingers crossed for a club event in that time frame.
Last time I was home I moved up to Greenville (off of Poinsett hwy) from Anderson. So far I like the area, but i haven't spent any more than 20 days there so we will see how it goes. I enjoy the "mountains" a lot more than flat assed Anderson.
Im looking forward to getting back into the cruiser groove and being a contributing member to the club...not that i contributed much to begin with.

Looking forward to meeting you all soon.
