Yeah I'm curious to see how it's going to play out, the new academy sports opens up next month in Anderson and then with PSA opening in July. Although ammo seems to be coming in more frequently and in higher quantity and I've seen more handguns showing up in display cases, so I'm hoping things are back on the upswing with production.
 
Academy in Easley has everything but 223/5.56 pretty much now. Of course that i what i really want!
 
ok so the VA is a bunch of crooks!

My wife and i have never set foot in a VA office never the less a va hospital. So my federal tax reurn was suppose to hit today north of 4k. Check my acct and only $215 hits. WTF? So i go to IRS.gov and according to the IRS the VA office took over 3800 of my money. So we contact the va office and talk to a low down dirty prius driving deadbeat named Neil. He tells us that there was a clerical mistake on their part and that they can not refund the $ until they receive it. He refuses to transfer us to a supervisor gives us a # to a supervisor and hangs up. So we call a second time and talk to a nice upstanding counryboy from NC names Tony. Again tony tells us that the mistake is on their end and that he will start the process to refund our $$. Gives us a claim # and says that he will call us back today with the next step. Very helpful compared to neil. I am to the point that i am going to talk to a lawyer if i do not get my $$ back. As of right now they claim that it is not a case of identity theft but a case of my wifes social security # being the exact # as one of their claims.

Oh and neil from the VA office. I have a 5klb death machine on wheels with a bullbar. Cruiser >prius, civic, or any other p#$$y car you drive cityboy! BE thankful we are not in the same state. You will be mentioned once i talk to someone of authority!:mad:

The shelves at our Walmart are bare and the guy running that department said no new stock until June?!! The only thing they had in any reasonable quantity was .308 and .270 and hi-dollar shotgun loads. No pistol ammo and no small caliber rifle ammo.

I'm going to the Academy Sports out by my parents this weekend.
 
I saw .223 shells the other day at $140 for 100. That is just plain crazy. I refuse to shoot my guns until prices come way way down. Until then I'll stick with fishing and wrenching.

Check out gassammo.com they are located in Taylor's. They make only hand gun ammo and do it locally in Taylor's. I play hockey with the owners, great guys. Tell them josh from the lusty monks sent you. Its not an inside joke...it's a hockey team you ashville guys have probably heard of the mustard.

No kidding. I think they were going for a mini me unimog setup.

I did hear rumors that tundras might be diesel options in the future.

Not necessarily. I know a guy who used to import them all the time until the market crashed and it was no longer profitable.
