That's the exact position my tub is in right now, leaning against the loading dock at ACC. I'm cleaning the frame up - but its been painfully slow. I may just send the tub to an industrial sand blaster and let them take care of all that lead paint for me. I have found no less than 6 layers of paint on the frame and one layer is desert tan.
so i had traffic court today for a ticket i received. This guy is brought before the judge for stealing. An older lady in her late sixties probably let a family of six move in with her because they were homeless. After so many months she probably thought she could trust them and went on a trip for 3 weeks. While she was gone the family robbed her blind. Took all of her gold jewelry, a camera and some other stuff. So the only thing they could prove was that he stole the camera. The judge asks the lady if she would like to see him go to jail or get financial restitution. She said "I would hate to see him go to jail"! So the judge fines him $500 that he can not pay. The judge asked the man if his wife had a job. He said yes but did not know where. The figgin lady told the judge she was taking the guys wife to work every nigh

I don't understand why people don't wash off the rods and reels when the get done fishing at the beach and spray a little oil on them. Of the 15 reels at the house it took me 3 hrs to get 4 that somewhat work. They all had sand in them and looked to have been submerged in salt water.
that is why you need personal reels and such that you do not share with others....
I'll show my ignorance. I did not know you should clean and oil saltwater reels after fishing. Maybe you need to post instructions?
found an awesome video on youtube called "getting through" with toyota landcruiser. From the 80's. All stock rigs. Quite a show.
After building docks for almost 15 years, I can tell you salt water will ruin anything!!

Coming back from vacation sucks. Though coming back to boxes full of new cruiser parts is a whole lot of fun.
Here is a cool story to make you feel better:
I log in to work this AM:
- All my expense reports are rejected - I am not in the system
- All my healthcare providers start calling and asking for updated info - I have no insurance
- My pay was interrupted for 2 weeks last month
CAUSE:
I got a PROMOTION and transferred internally, but someone did the paperwork wrong and terminated me! I got the pay sorted out and figured the rest would fix itself, but I found out this AM that is not the case. They are fixing it all now, but SHEESH, what a Monday!
That plus the other stuff going makes for a really calm morning....UGH.
