Now we are talking...... I just figured a cultured man like yourself would have a more well rounded music collection :hillbilly:

Jeremy did say what I was listening to now. I'm just going through a phase. I usually listen to the ipod in the 80 when the kids are not in the car. In the mornings I listen to NPR. No music. In the afternoon with the kids in the car I listen to pandora radio. When I get home I listen to WNCW on an old 60's tube radio.

In the boat in the summer it's Buffet and all steal drums and Island music. While fishing it's usually Zeppelin. If it's on a Sunday I'm listening to the race.

I have something like 2 gigs of LZ.

if the springs are for a 40, they are not going to fit your 60.

lol missed that. Could have sworn it was for a 60. Could always add them to my longer ones and make a hybrid though!:hillbilly:

NPR in a land cruiser blasphemy..... I always new you were a liberal :flipoff2:

in the iPod and on heavy rotation:

Distillers - Coral Fang
Spinnerette - Spinnerette
Cage the Elephant
Nirvana - Incesticide
Anything by The Sounds
Honeyhoney - Billy Jack
Old 97's - Too Far to Care
Radiohead - Amnesiac
Foster the People - Torches
Chickenfoot - III
Slash (solo album in 2010)

I don't think firing Juan Williams automatically makes it a liberal news syndicate. Put down the Fox News kool-aid JP.

Jeremy

dude I don't even have cable..........:o

and Williams is a liberal pundit, so you might want to revise your logic there :flipoff2:

I just listen to the news. You know that is actually what it is. They report both sides of the story not just one like most.

I go through phases of listening to NPR they have some interesting programs on there especially on the drive home, but they lean left just as much as Fox news leans right. Heck their name NPR, NATIONAL PUBLIC Radio hints at their socialist "tints" and not to mention their are heavily supported by the goverment so to assume they are unbiased would just be silly :meh:...... I am of the opinion that all major news/media organizaitons are biased one way or another, true unbiased reporting no longer exists in this country.. everyone of them seems to have an agenda now.

I am not sure even he knows which side he is.:meh:

I don't have cable either. Nothing but a bunch of s*** on TV these days. I get my Sons of Anarchy TVo'd and watch it when I am in Charleston, and then watch Walking Dead for free online 5 minutes after it airs. Netflix is my friend. Been watching old 80's movies. North Shore, Thrashin' and stuff like that. Figured I would watch the Lost Boys tonight and Goonies tomorrow.:)

Juan is prob. what people pay him to be ;)

Goonies is da bomb...... I'll have to look that one up on Netflix tonight

Car Talk is da bomb!! I actually do like NPR news almost like BBC, which they do play from time to time. I have been on an old western kick lately on netflix, I watched high noon yesterday, and have Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid in queue, some stuff that I had watched when I was a kid and am revisiting...

Car Talk, Prarie Home Companion, Top Gear (Brit version only), Community, 30 Rock, Mad Men, The Simpsons, American Pickers, any Australian movie, NBC News. Masterpeice Theater use to be great when they did filmed British war dramas, like "Danger UXB" in the 80s.

I now find "Storage Wars" distrubing as the Jarrod character is clearly played by Steve.

I think that line up makes me just average, which is where I like to be.

is netflix worth the $$. My wife is totally against it saying there is porn on it.

You can't find porn on it. Youhave to really search to just find B grade HBO stuff.

If you are into retro movies, Take Me Home Tonight just came up as a new arrival and I think Hot Tub Time Machine is on there as well. I love Netflix just for the retro stuff.

My son loves He-Man, old Spider-Man, and Transformers toons.

Jeremy

Yeah, no porn on netflix... More bob the builder than debbie does dallas. The only thing with netflix is that they have lost a lot of their movie titles now that blockbuster has a home delivery service and streaming for around the same price. But I do enjoy it...

The wife and I watch a ton of Netflix. No commercials, just TV and movies. We stream everything and don't order any DVDs anymore. Our only complaint is when a TV show gets removed for awhile - them walah! it comes back! ....

are the tv shows up to date??
