You'll have to ask your local building codes. I know my neighbors put one of these garages up and they decided to let there son live in it for 2 years. They didn't get a permit to put a kitchen, bath, and bedroom in it to occupy it because local building codes don't allow plumbing in these type of structures. I know codes in the Upstate are lax or non0existent so who knows. I am just trying to say that you will overpay for something that is not intended for your type of use. That is all.
