Any updates on pricing? Trying to talk the wife into a good Fathers day present :D

********updates********

Alright so softopguy has been hard at work, even through the 100+ temperatures we had last weekend.

This project has taken some time but after seeing the final (almost there) product today I see why.....attention to detail and everybit of it has been paid attention too.

Incredible work I must say. I believe all requests have been met down to the grommet's at the windshield channel and the seems across the top. He has taken the time to take into consideration all concerns members have had and has produced the most practical, durable, and close to OEM design possible.

I have quite a few photos so if there is something I am not showing let me know.

Thanks

U.s. Soft Tops Ready For Order!

It's been a long time since I've posted up, so this may a little lengthy. ;)

First, I want to thank Randall "82cruiser" for allowing me to keep his OEM top and everything else he sent me without time restrictions.

Although I've never directly communicated with Johnny C, Scott "Highlandcruiser" certainly has, and he has been a wealth of knowledge and encouragement.

I want to thank Greg "Southerncruiser" for allowing me to house his rig, his hands on approach and for posting all the pictures.

I want to thank my wife and son for allowing me to take all the time I needed, with all the absenteeism from their lives, to bring this fruition.

And thanks, last, but certainly not, and never, least, to my dear brother-in-law Scott "Highlandcruiser" for introducing me to your world and you to mine!!

That being said, our high quality soft tops are made from and with the following:

Hey JohnnyC!

Thanks for reiterating the quality of the materials for these tops. We're very excited about the outcome.

And, yes. The sides roll up, snap into place, and are completely removable by zipping out.

What do you have in mind as far as changing the windows slightly?

Regards,

Travis "Softtopguy"

I remember when Ehsan came out with his seven window he had pics i sent him....and they changed the windows to a larger size...their intention was good...so there is more visability ...but...i remember there was alot of turn-off about the Different look...i hope you dont mind as i photo edited you pic...i think this is more in the character of toyotas...just IMHO

Always appreciate your thoughts! These windows are the same size as the windows I copied from Randall's OEM top. And, because of the placement of the zippers, so as to be able to remove the side panel completely, I've maximized the space as much as possible from back to front. The only possibility is to change the dimensions from top to bottom.

Just got done re-watching an old favorite 70's classic - "Two Lane Blacktop." I'd be lying if I didn't admit to liking most of the modern consumerist conveniences my generation had - but damn, think I'd be happier being an adult in the 70's - pics like this one drive it home!

I'd love a color poster of this shot if anyone happens to know who owns the rights.
