So, I want to take the 25 on a trip in a couple weeks. The few times I've had it out on the trail there's an awful creaking sound from the springs. So I figured I'd replace the spring bushings.
Well needless to say, I couldn't get them to budge without ruining everything, and I didn't feel like smoking up the garage with burning rubber, so I quit.
So I decide a good and easy thing to do would be to change the oils starting with the front diff.
Can't get the drain plug out because I must have bashed a rock or three at Paragon. Get out the chisel, loosen everything up and we're in business. Draining oil into the pan which promptly overflows...............
So the oil looks a little grungy so I decide to spray some cleaner in the diff and flush it out a little. Put the little red spray tube in the fill plug and.............poink..............it shoots right into the diff!
Now with my luck the stupid little tube is sure to get itself into something and screw it up.............and the front cover studs were beat up from the rocks..........so I pull the front cover to grab the thing:
Aaaah, got it.
