Yeah, so I am a clean freak. I wanted a curved pressure washer wand tube to make cleaning up under the trucks easier. So........
Lowes
Step 1 pick up 24" tube over near the lawn mowers for $18.00. Has quick release end for changing tips
Step 2 take a walk over to electrical and locate the conduit benders, pick a small one. Cut the tube out of the package and bend it right there on the floor. Heather got this fellons guilt look on her face and started acting as a look out, while laughing.
Step 3 put the conduit bender back on the rack and go pay the bill

On and off, yeah. Had shocks before the e-locker, then had shocks after the fzj80 rear swap, but other than that, just an interesting ride I guess. Holy cow is she nice to drive now.
My work truck at mccarthy was a 1 ton ford with no shocks... well it had shocks but they had died completely about 10 years back. Made for an interesting ride.
I imagine your rig is like night and day difference now.

I like your peg board set up. When I got my first set of tools and a box I was a tire jockey at Sears. You had to lock your tools up and it helped if they were mobile. Now that I have a garage to work in and my box has not moved in 15 years, it has never occurred to me to use peg board for 'tool box' tools. I could not switch now if I wanted to. I know exactly where is everything is, or where it should be.
They are not cheap but are worth it in time saved.

I have and love my drill doctor. It does take an afternoon of nothing else to do when it's time to polish up the bits.
The peg board is something I had to get used to as well. It was necessary when we moved into this house with only a 2 car garage and me downsizing from a 30x60 shop with 4 full tool chests ( now down to 3). You're right about the mobile part ... I keep a separate set of tools for the road/trail, but I pretty much did that before anyway. The unexpected bonus of the peg board is when others come over to work ( huge shout out to Jason who was here til 2 am) and they can find tools easily. It wasn't something I thought about until I saw it in action. Additionally, when a tool isn't in the drawer it's supposed to be in I would keep digging to find it. The board provides some immediate feedback in the form of "it ain't here, look elsewhere".
I'm bushed right now but will post up some pictures of what we worked on later.
