Its wrenching since a knife was involved. Y'all, this is what magic looks like. Get excited. This will make an appearance this weekend.

Not cruiser related but you guys will appreciate this. Dad owns a diesel shop in Cullman. I stopped by to do some computer stuff. Every time I’m there I’m amazed by the size.

Those huge transmissions are fascinating. Throw in some electropneumatic controls and I swear there is honest to God magic happening in there somewhere.

Caterpillar yellow...ewwww. Hopefully it wasn't an ACERT. I get nightmares even thinking of those @#$% things.

I’m not a diesel guy so I’m not even sure. He’s got two guys that are master diesel tech with a binder full of certificates. I’m positive they have seen it all

Chasing an oil leak to The distributor o ring. Got it changed and discover this crack in the rotor button. Gonna have to run it. New one won’t be here until tomorrow.

Rewired this 8274's solenoid pack tonight and got the electrics all sorted out. Realized that 2/0 is WAY overkill for the short run to the motor so new wiring is on the way from Amazon. I'll run the 2/0 for the positive feed.

Getting closer to needing to make a sell/keep decision...

Keep = Cool Winch on the 60
Sale = If it gets you closer to your locker setup

Seeing an 8274 make a loaded pull might help sway me. This puppy would need to be significantly faster for me to hang on to it.

The 80 threw a little glitch on Saturday, so here's hoping a trans service sorts it out.

Calling @roryhamaker. That driveline you have lying around looks to be needed.

If you need a transmission let me know. I have an extra from a 97 lying around.

I hope I don't need to go that route, but it's awesome to have that option available! Thanks

If you decide you need it just let me know. All you'll need to do is come pick it up. Transmission was pulled for an engine/transmission swap and has about 180k miles on it.
