I always bring my toolbox, but it's not a necessity.

Sounds good. How about CB channel 4?

We are going to have to get gas in Borrego sprgs. Not that much of a difference in time or distance. Do you think 2 hours is enough time to drive there and stop for gas? Last time I drove that route it took me 2hr 20min.
 
I'm pretty much ready for the turkey sandwich run, except for the turkey sandwich. I'll be meeting you guys at costco, I probably wont need to gas up there though. I'm looking forward to meet you guys.

I hadn't accounted on going through Borrego. Good call, lets make it 5:40 gassed and ready to go. ;)
 
there is a moderate chance I'll be around.
If so, it would be nice to do some wheeling with you all, if not oversubscribed already.
Did a good deal of exploring in the area already. I love it.
Any real radio commo beside the CB kid toys...? :D

No matter what you will always need something that you didn't bring. Basically this is a never ending list but some basics would be, spare belt, hoses, fuses, basic tool set. And I could add onto that for days but with 8 cruisers out there I am sure one of us will have something that another one needs.

Would be good to have you and finally meet. I will have 2 meter available for communication so we can talk about the others. ;)
 
Supposed to do the Mojave trail Thanksgiving weekend, but if that falls through and this trip turns out to be an overnighter, i would love to attend!

Any room for one more, possibly last minute.

Any PLAN on camping?

My mother is visiting from Boston (she cames for the 1000) and her and my girlfriend would be joining me.

Watch out for about 8 Jeep Cherokees. If you see one with a Kaymar bumper... walk to the guy and tell him to stop abusing my bumper. He'll laugh and know exactly what you're talking about.

We'll be running Bradshaw trail on the eastern side of Salton Sea to the Colorado river for Thanksgiving. I would invite the whole group but this is a expedition of sorts since we have never ran it before. I wouldntt want to lead a group where i don't know for sure where im headed.

Dave, I hope to join you in one of your (or anyones) expedition trips next year...Im hoping its a better year for trying to get out more.

Who all is meeting at Costco at 6:00? I will send all of you my cell # so you can call me if you are running late and you can catch us on the hwy or at the final meeting spot.
