I always bring my toolbox, but it's not a necessity.Giulitto said:That was a given, but something more like tools.....? Maybe? Or is this to obvious?
Sounds good to me Braden. How about the Chevron station at Oso Parkway and the 5 fwy at 6 am?
As for gas the only other place beside Borrego Springs & Julian might be Santa Ysabel, but not sure. And I don't think Ocotillo Wells has gas because when Reid and I drove into Julian on fumes we started home from Ocotillo Wells.
HA! I remeber that.
Sounds good. How about CB channel 4?
We are going to have to get gas in Borrego sprgs. Not that much of a difference in time or distance. Do you think 2 hours is enough time to drive there and stop for gas? Last time I drove that route it took me 2hr 20min.
This is right down the road from me. So are you all meeting there around 6-6:15, fueling up and heading out? This is my first official run, anything that I should bring that is a necessity?
there is a moderate chance I'll be around.
If so, it would be nice to do some wheeling with you all, if not oversubscribed already.
Did a good deal of exploring in the area already. I love it.
Any real radio commo beside the CB kid toys...?![]()
Any PLAN on camping?
I'm down for camping. Anyone else want to chime in?
Wife, kids and dog.Anyone else bringing ladies?
Supposed to do the Mojave trail Thanksgiving weekend, but if that falls through and this trip turns out to be an overnighter, i would love to attend!
Any room for one more, possibly last minute.
Any PLAN on camping?
Thanks
...We'll be running Bradshaw trail on the eastern side of Salton Sea to the Colorado river for Thanksgiving. I would invite the whole group but this is a expedition of sorts since we have never ran it before. I wouldntt want to lead a group where i don't know for sure where im headed.
