So on a side note. Anyone who would like to turbo a 1FZ 80 CX racing has all the parts to make it easy. Products By Car Toyota Scion Lexus Land Cruiser J80{page} I am amazed at how much they have available.

Not much of an update. Just life got in the way to slow progress to a crawl. I think I have cleared enough space in the engine bay to fit the turbo and not melt anything or boil my break fluid.
I did shorten the exhaust so that it exits just behind the drivers side b pillar.
With the help of a borrowed head and exhaust manifolds I can fab the turbo mid pipe outside the truck. The gauge cluster is installed. And there is no CEL after the EGR delete.

I’m very, very close on a LS swap, so the idea of a turbo 3FE is waning.
Lots of people doing turbos on diesels... and the later gas engines superchargers (1FZ, 2UZ)

i'll be starting mine as soon as I get my 80 shipped back to me. Got everything I need, I think. Including a rebuilt 3fe.
