Well I permantly (sp) installed my Tsunami air pump in the 80 tonight. I drilled through the rubber pads so that it would still be mounted with rubber to save on vibration and noise. I mounted up nicely with some small bolts from the hardware store. I had a little help if thats what you would like to call it from a friend of mine. I also hard wired it to the battery.

Looks like you had good help.:flipoff2:

In a mag .. I'm not sure if in 4WOR Petersens or Toyota Owner .. make a good test ( prices included ) about diferent type of compresor ( on board air systems ) and Tsunami appears very good positioned ..

Cost vs performace ..

That looks like the perfect spot. I just picked mine up yesterday. I was thinking about hard mounting it, but since I can use it in my truck also, I guess I'll keep it mobile. I also have 10lb and 20lb CO2 tanks (it's good to have friends that work in the cola industry), so my air needs should be covered.

based on the photo at 4wheelparts, they are 100% identical....I'll have to shoot a pic of the MV50 sitting in the back of my 80, but I can see no visual difference

I have one of each, exactly the same, both imported by DV Innovations. Checkers wanted a unique unit, so the Superflow name and box was made for them, everyone else got the Tsunami.

Can anyone find these for 25 bucks anymore?
the local PepBoys doesn't have 'em , and if they did they want 80 bucks for them.....

Somebody help a brother out?

willing to bribe with beer.....

Approx 2.5 cu ft/min at low pressures. For $25 you can't go wrong for a nice portable package that will fill tyres quickly though it struggles to fill a 6 gal tank to 120 psi. I need to run some more tests before coming up with repeatable fill times.

I like it.

there are still a few out there at Checkers...
But if you find a bunch you gotta share with the bros at cost...

I was afraid to look at the Checkers in HNL, I could see myself having to carry 16 back on the plane.... :)

I got mine at the Pep Boys in Indianapolis near Cruiser Clints house while I was up there this past Saturday for our clubs tech session. It was $63.00 after tax, they still had quite a few.

I bought 7 for $24.99ea this past weekend..... hit partsamerica.com and search MV50 - local pickup only....

location...

Is this thing gonna be cool against water exposure & s***??

I think the unwritten rule is to at least disguise the cuss words and $hit?

I found the last (as near as I can tell) $25 MV-50 in my area. Folks are apparently still finding them at that price.
I'm new to compressors, but the general consensus seems to be that they're a great deal even at $80.

it is....but it's also a selectable option in your User CP now, you can add the words you want removed....

generally discouraged in tech regardless....

I need to try out my compressor one of these days.....tho it'd be nice to wait until it warms up a little....lol
