The last time I was there, Florida had a lot of beaches. Don't know if they still do but any time you are in sand you will have a MUCH better chance of not getting stuck if you air down... the lower, the better in sand.

i have only needed air out on a trail for a tire repair once. And that was for someone else's truck. Maybe i have just been lucky.

I like those little air pumps like creepersleeper has. I figured sticking it up in the compartment where the jack and tools fit, just over the DS rear tire.

I have not, nor will I ever drive on the beach. I like my truck, that's why, and I went to GREAT lengths to make sure my rig was rust-free. One innocent drive on the beach, even way up where the tide does not reach, and even if you thoroughly wash the vehicle afterwards, underside too, will begin the awful salt rotting process. Sand, laden with salt crystals, will find its way into little nooks and crannies that your pressure washer or hose just will not get to, unless you immerse the lower half of your vehicle in water.

In these vehicles especially, with their questionable weather-proofing, I fear rust and the salt that begins that oxidation process.

Just saying...
