Last week it was the Navi. system and the week before was the front axle overhaul ,now this weekend it's the supercharger
I almost finished it before the Cruiser
called for me to pick her up from the train station. I so far got about 7 hours into it and I have about a hour or so to go tomorrow as I have 1 more vacuum line to run and make the IAC and the TPS wires longer.
While I had it all apart I popped a new "T" stat in,new fan clutch, and a new waterpump from Cdan . I know Junks fan clutch crapped out and took a motor with it and Scamper lost a HG from a bad waterpump right after he did his so I replaced that too
I have a few extra new parts left over so far that I have no clue where they go and I will post pixs as to find out how important they are later
I the one thing I have noticed is my kit came with blue silicon hoses for the intake runner to plenum and from the throttle body to air cleaner houseing
.
The only problem I have run into was one of the studs on the supercharger was too long and would hit the S/C plenum chamber . This would not allow them to tighten together and wold most liky brake the chamber if forced
Also if it wasnt for George Scolaro's site http://george4wd.taskled.com/scharger.html Id still be trying to figure out where the last vacuum line goes (very good write up and helps with the little things)
I hoping to have it all done in the morning
Then I'll go out and see if 100k on the motor is too much for adding this little jewel and have the motor go
and me go
