Last month I turned the rotors and installed the TRD Pads on the front of my 08 model, from what I read here on the forum the consensus was they were good pads with improved braking. A few hundred miles on them and I'm getting brake vibrations from the rotors and the brake dust from the pads are twice as bad as what the stealership put on before which were an OEM pad. I will swap to new rotors and maybe go back to the Wagner Thermo Quiet pads I used on my 80, Sequoia and 3/4 Ton Dodge for a decade with no issues quiet and dust free. They last about 50K normal wear. Good thread I'll be looking into rotor solutions I don't have to touch the back for a bit.
Your the second person I read online that had problems with the TRD pad using turned rotors. I personally buy new rotors and pads each time and I haven't had any issues. They definetly do make more brake dust but its a compromise I am willing to live with to get better performance.
Do you just replace brake pads or do you also replace with TRD rotors? Do you have the part #'s by chance?I have them on my 18 LX. Love em (except for all the extra brake dust). Definite improvement over the stock pads.

Normally I always turn my rotors on my vehicles, brake shop charges me $20 a rotor to resurface them. They didn't have much of a lip but I always do it anyway to break in the new pads well the TRD pads and resurfaced rotors aren't getting along
What are the part numbers for the TRD front and rear brake pads for a 2013? I can’t seem to find them. The ones linked in this post PTR090C111 and PTR090C110 are showing that they don’t fit on the 2013.

Also curious.
You should buy that Dust Deputy. I have one and it really works amazingly well!
