About to replace the transfer case mounts for when I do the crossmember from Sky Mfg. Any words of wisdom? How to hold things in place for when I pull the Xmember? Thanks for the help!

Stock bottle jack and a scrap of 2x4 will work.
pull into your favorite cave, and use a boulder to support your crossmember.
dont pinch your claws.
dont let the trans drop down to far, it will break your engine mounts.
KLF's method is preffered.

basically support the tranny and the transfer case with whatever I can use to remove the original crassmember and then replace mount and install new crossmember? sounds simple, which means I will probably take pictures and need more help : )

Seems I used those tall SUV jackstands, maybe a pair of them with a 4x4 across them. I can't recall.
