I've got about a hundred of these things left to sell. I was looking at them today and thought to myself they would make a great base for an off road trailer. What do you guys think? Thoughts on how to make this look good. Parts to use for axles and such?

They are 40.5" wide by 94.5 long. I think they could certainly be cut down on length. I think the width is perfect. The posts could be cut and welded to make the shape of the old M101 trailers. I bet I could build the whole trailer for under 300. What do you think?

Ill beta test the first one :D Looks good.
Can you get the axle/tongue/tires/electrics done and still be under 300? seems finished out it should sell for 5 easy? 750 for the one that has high corner post, lader rack up top for the RTT right?

The pumpkin is huge and you would have to drag that thing all over the trail plus on a 40 axle if you had to rob a part you would have to leave the trailer behind.. You would be better off carrying the axles and parts in the trailer.

that thing is in seattle wa!! Why not just floor it, put up some side rails and a hinged top!!

Yep but I have a 40 axle and a pair of 2" lift springs sitting in the yard. What type of steel are those things made of? You can get a trailer light kit for about $20 not sure how much the rest would cost.

I wouldn't find the time to use it, but that makes me happy.

Would you sell just the shelving? I have been looking for some decent systems but all are plastic or the metal ones are flemsy.

Drop in this and you would have one helluva a nice trailer for $900.

That thing looks like one of my old vet service bed units some had hot water, air compressors, and inverters with battey for running the x-ray's nice and heavy build had a couple of horses jump on top of ours and didn't even dent the fiberglass or bend and hinges. Stout should hold up but will be heavy.

how much are you asking for them?

I don't know as I haven't gotten the quotes back on the bits and pieces. Probably be a couple months before I have any idea.

You mean the portable racking. Sure they are 35 each. I've sold quite a few for just that purpose.
