That dude from Pakistan (ehsan?) Was making ones that hinged open. Pretty cool, not sure if that was ever stock tho.

Probably even more effective wasp funnels than the 40 kick vents...

Where'd you end up after I saw you on the Pat Bay? I made it to San Juan River, it got a tad chilly on Sat. night.
Ice on the dishwater in the morning, of course, I was preoccupied with the general state of my liver.

Dude.

There's a reason they called it a liver instead of a toxin filter...it's what it's for.

It'll be fine.

Until it isn't and then it's really someone else's problem .

So I'm kind of in deck mode, as thinking of getting a full size for heavy duties. Went to a bolt-on Barbie shop down on PA
main line overland. They don't fab anything, but they do attach anything you can find on the internet to your trucks.
The decks are stunning, NORWELD out of Australia. Top of the line, with rear center cargo drawers, side boxes, under storage
water and fuel tanks. All made of aluminum, all made to the highest of standards. But starting at $8K US makes them
interesting, but once options start attaching they get about $10K. The aluminum cargo deck canopy is cool, drawers, dual
rear tire carriers, fridge slides, yada yada yada.....

To get an idea, the first two pics are a Tacoma, with camper and deck. $90,000 USD

Damn. Those are nice.

Might have to steal some of their ideas.

Now you're thinking. The deck and canopy would be over $20K US. I really like the idea of the rear tire deck lip with the center
threaded bolt. I'd like to copy that to a swingout tire carrier, made of alum. Save about 35 lbs off the rear bumper.

Bit of a beast, I've never seen it before.
