Toyota has discounted the distributor rotor???

Called my Dallas Toyota to order parts for a complete tune up and was told that Toyota has discontinued the rotor!

I am very surprised. I knew as my truck got older it would be harder to find interior and exterior trim, but a distributor rotor?

Where should I go? NAPA?

I think your dealer typed in the wrong number.

I know they discontinued the distributor housing itself, but I just rebuilt mine with new vacuum advance, rotor, cap, o-rings , ect.
They still sell the signal generator as well.
Probably a bad PN like pappy said.

when I gave the parts woman that part number, she found it right away and it is IN stock. So thank you all for your help.

the only reason I don't go to CDAN is because I get a 25% discount at Toyota Dallas.
