I was thinking elocker just because the front tires are probably more likely to leave the ground.
Also, a front helical LSD will make the steering tight and will make the steering wheel want to snap back to center more aggressively in 4wd. Since these trucks only have full-time 4wd, it will mean that this will always be the case and you just have to deal with it. It could get annoying.
My Jeep Liberty, that had helical LSD’s in both axles, had 2wd, full time 4wd, and part time 4wd so I didn’t always have to deal with the front diff. I could just put it in 2wd and the diff would be transparent
