I also have a classic 1" drive ratchet with adapter for 3/4" drive and corresponding sockets if someone needs to borrow

Where is the UC warehouse so we can all work on trucks together? :)

Heck, I wheel down here so little we should just store our trail rigs in one place and start there every time we go out! hehe

Gehn. I have an opportunity to buy a very nice hoist and engine stand for 300. I offered 200 but he is standing firm. I just cannot afford to spend any more than that.

Looks like the gods are smiling on us today.

David Davis has a good friend who is donating a 4 gas Sun Engine Analyzer to the club. Alan and I are going to go pick it up tomorrow. I'm going learn how to use it and then we will keep it at Alans house after that. Just another perk.

Will post pics tomorrow.

Thanks David.

We will call it the Dave 1500 after David Davis who scored this for us.

It's big. 300lbs. It will be staying at Alans. Hopefully we can set up some days throughout the year to have tuneup party's. It need to be cleaned and needs a tuneup it's self. I have a lot of reading to do.

That thing looks sweeeeeet... Good score!!!!

dude sweet....what the hell is it.....lol....can we tune up any vehicle with it!

I have a set of air tools at Alan's place that any members can use or borrow.

Is there something among them that will carve my factory aluminum front skid plate? I'm still having some rubbing when I'm flexed. I thought we had it fixed at Tim's but I noticed this when I was at Gulches. Just a matter of time before I cut a lug. I tried some grinding when I had it off installing my front bumper but it wasn't enough.

Get some bud built skids, problem solved! :)

I was fixin' to pull the trigger on a full suit of Bud Builts when the marina called.
My auxiliary has a cracked head-I thought (hoped) it was just a blown head gasket.
They were bidding on one on Ebay last I heard.
I gotta see what all that's costing before I buy the next big item for Bonnie.

Toys, toys, toys. First you buy 'em, then the care and feeding bankrupts you but you can't live without 'em.

Marshall,

How low will the tranny jack go? I need to replace the clutch in my new (non-cruiser) project. I have some tall jack stands, but didnt know how low the tranny jack will go.

Not to mention how BIG the tranny might be!
