I'm installing a TJM, (thanks actionjackson) and I can't figure out how the latch system mounts. THere are two countersunk bolts that appear to go straight through the rear crossmember and then bolt into something.

I have no holes for that. This is a 93. It appears my 97 doesn't have those holes either. Are you supposed to drill those???

Here's a shot of the back of the latch on mine. Two bolts welded to a bar.

You need to drill through your cross member to fit the bumper or it will never mount right. I said F it and just took a grinder and cut out a rectangle with a grinder so I didn't have to bother making sure the holes lined up perfect.

thanks guys, I just drilled through it and got it going. Couldn't find any instructions ANYWHERE on the web or anything, so I just said F it...and drilled. Works wonderfully.
