Dobinsons Hydraulic Bump Stops - Install question

Anyone who has experience with these? Installing the fronts now, The instructions state the bump stop brackets are labeled left and right. I don't see any markings on them. Will they work on either side?

They are mirror images of each other, cant find a mark for side specific locations. Maybe the powder coat filled in the markings? They are definitely side specific as they appear to be mirror images of each other.

Have you tried to take out one of the old ones, there might be a clue in is shape there.

The old Mr. T bump stop cans are round. No tells there. I did take some more photos. The install instructions have a picture of one with the letter "R" stamped in it. I pasted what I think is left and right on either side with yellow marks that attempt to parallel the gussets. My best guess is that the pic on the left is for the driver side and the one on the right is passenger.

It will be a couple of weeks till I get it back on the road, heading up to Overland Expo in Flagstaff this weekend to see if I can spend more money! This is where I left of on Saturday. The Land Cruiser specific bracket to hold the remote reservoirs was not provided and now I am waiting for them.

Nice! I found the boots cover up the rebound adjustment, bring extra zip ties on the trail if you need to tweak them.

If you can, please note how you have the bump stops adjusted. I want to avoid taking them out to tweak them if I get it wrong the first time.

Just did the fronts for now and see what I think and how the rig reacts with them. I don't bottom out often but when I do, it is nasty. The last time we weren't wearing seat belts and smacked the roof HARD. Hidden ditch covered up by some overgrowth.

Will document, I suspect it will be a starting point for you as you need to cycle your suspension without the springs to fine tune.

This is correct as far as which bolts up where. I did not measure my adjustments as they are totally dependent on shock travel in both directions. Dobinsons AUS sent the second photo for reference. It agrees with my markups.
