A couple questions for the experts:
I recently replaced my entire exhaust from the headers back with Genie headers and a Manta exhaust. There was a place for the O2 sensor pre cat on the new exhaust, but there was no hole. So I just left it out and unplugged it at the harness. I drove it home and didn't get a CEL. Will this eventually be a problem or is it fine?
2nd question:
They gave me some RTV for the gaskets, but the mechanic/shop attendant told me not to.put it on the headers gaskets, He also said I didn't need it for the pipe gaskets, that it's a waste of time. Is there any truth to this?
Same question for the loc tite bolt lockers that came with this. I didn't put any on, but I'm not sure if I should go back through and add it to any bolts.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if I qualify as an expert but anyway...

Whereabouts are you located and what market is your truck originally for?

1) Here in Oz, our 92-94 FZJ80s have an (1) O2 sensor in the exhaust, 95+ do not, so one way of dealing with this is weld on the flange but don't drill a hole so that there's no exhaust leak if no O2 sensor and an easy drill and fit if there is 1. Would suggest you should get it in place if your truck has one.

2) Don't put RTV on exhaust gaskets IMHO. If you want to put something on it, use something like Permatex Copper Spray-A-Gasket High Temp Sealant 255g - https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/permatex-permatex-copper-spray-a-gasket-high-temp-sealant-255g/658067.html?utm_content=paidsearch-pmax&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20387051005&gbraid=0AAAAADpj7z78aNaPpDAJmTfyZHogDtEBz&gclid=CjwKCAjwl_XBBhAUEiwAWK2hztLMM-BbvI1dFKrYnUzNOrTS7zW-8Nq7cZGDt5cCdhzt1JloYDnGnxoCrp0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds but if your flanges are thick enough and decent quality gaskets, you don't need it.
Not sure on the Loctite bolt locker, is this a thread locker liquid or something else? I would be putting anti-seize on exhaust hardware rather than threadlocker personally. Permatex Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant 226g - https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/permatex-permatex-copper-anti-seize-lubricant-226g/658174.html?utm_content=paidsearch-pmax&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20387051005&gbraid=0AAAAADpj7z78aNaPpDAJmTfyZHogDtEBz&gclid=CjwKCAjwl_XBBhAUEiwAWK2hzjnsICOTNR1cqBGhxrq2dxWw3a6loMy6E43uuBZaZXWmrfSJBn9vSxoCCAUQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
