im in for one. Will contact Duncan.

can always see if Duncan will hold other ARB mounted winches until the first guy checks the fairlead... On BBQBoys fairlead the new ARB bumpers are not drilled for the fairlead as the winch is mounted foot forward. Once you get the four foot bolts through and winch is in place then you have to drill your own holes for your fairlead to mount properly.....and the surface is not machined in an obvious way to facilitate this being done. It was one of my beefs with his ARB...no template provided to help with hole alignment for standard mount.

HOLES DRILLED IN FAIRLEAD MOUNTS not the ARB if there was misunderstanding. Holes in ARB do not line up to a roller fairlead...but may be set for a Hawse instead.

Is this a Titan related issue on the ARBs or is this an ARB issue for any winch? Would a Warn install pose less problems than the Titan? Mine arrives Tuesday and I'm hoping for a relatively straight forward install.

ARB issue for ANY WINCH....It may not be a problem with the synthetic line setup and maybe ARB is pushing everyone away from steel cable installs...but the holes they have do not line up with a standard Warn roller fairlead. If you line the holes up it does not fit flat with way bumper is built...if you move the fairlead to proper position it is way out of whack with provided holes. Only thing I can think of is it is made for hawse with synthetic line since providing holes for both setups might not be economical...

Same thing for installs on 80 series such as here.... https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-...bull-bar-80-roller-fairlead-location-m12.html so it is definitely a ARB thing....when installing roller fairleads. Like I said, it might not be an issue with a Hawse so hopefully you guys will break that code. The holes have to be drilled in the roller fairlead not the bumper to make them line up.....I was damn if I was going to drill the ARB...LOL

This was for the ARB on FJ60 this year I helped install....and know it is same for 80 series...but not sure about 100 series so just giving a heads up. BBQBoy says he had no issues...so that is good news.

When it comes to mounting of the winch, Warn and Titan are identical. Lets get that issue put to rest. There is NO difference.

The issue has nothing to do with any brand winch. The issue is the ARB bumper is designed for a steel roller fair lead. And even with a steel roller you have to drill a new hold in the roller mount for it to work with the ARB. In other words no winch even with steel line is exactly plug-n-play with the ARB bumper.

I don't know the resolution yet, but will be finding out real soon. My winch is set to deliver next Friday. I'm not sure how soon it will be installed but I will try to get it on very soon. Maybe have to drill a hole in the bumper, maybe have to order an offset hawse fair lead. No idea yet....

I had no issues whatsoever mounting my Titan TW12 in my ARB Sahara. Bolted right up.

So....when you say bolts right up, no extra holes drilled for the winch or fairlead? Mine arrives on Tuesday.

Not a single hole was drilled anywhere on my bumper for any reason. The fairlead holes were already there and it didn't matter that the Titan TW12 was mounted feet forward. Brock is thinking about an ARB bumper that he helped install on a FJ60.

Good to know.

Remember to only use metric drill bits :)

you are right....I forgot that was the FJ60 with ARB that I helped install.....it is a common issue though to need to change holes in fairlead for ARB bumpers...60 and 80 series for sure.....

good catch BBQ....thanks. :) Apologies for getting everyone scared of drilling a hole in fairlead...LOL

This was the same with my FJC bumper, had to drill holes in the warn roller fairlead.

Has anyone bolted this winch with synthetic line and the included hawse fairlead to an ARB?!?

I have this winch with Synthetic line and steel roller fairlead.

I have this winch with Synthetic line and steel roller fairlead.

Technically if you keep the roller fairlead with synthetic line you should switch out the drums for the delrin variety.

Wow....a winch was not the next item on my wish list but this is very tempting..... This will force me to buy the ARB bar sooner than I wanted to!

Well, technically, if the rollers have never been used with steel cable then the rollers should be just fine with synthetic since no burrs or rough edges have been formed.
Besides, I can not find Delrin rollers in that size.
