Anyone else get charged an international service fee on their credit card? My bank says that it is a Visa policy to charge for this. Seems ridiculous. $25 for what?

Yep. Just checked. Mine was $20.20. Thank you Visa.

Ok, had to pull the trigger! Ordered; ships out tomorrow.

Thanks again Paul for putting this together!

I used my Mastercard debit card through my Credit Union, no international charges. I did get a call from my bank shortly after placing my order, to make sure I really bought something from Everlast Welding for $686 out of Canada. :D

same here from Wells Fargo. Fraud department called almost immediately, I guess that's good service. Compared to all the phishing emails, texts, and calls I've been getting from WF recently, was good they got one in the plus column.

But Titan actually got denied by my CC the first time. Just a heads up it may take more than one phone call to get this launched.

Same thing happened to me 5 months ago.

And your impressions are?

First impression, not cheap chinese crap. Winch looks to be well made, it's got some substantial weight to it even with synthetic line. The line looks really nice. I've seen MasterPull in person and this just looks stronger (yea looks don't mean anything in strength). The thimble and safety hook are also substantial.

Basically it looks stout, and I can't see any weak links.

My only negative comment is the wired controller looks a little cheesy, it's also fairly large in your hand.

Ok, just got off the phone with Duncan. Had a long discussion about fairlead mounting and clocking the winch. I'll type up more this evening on what I learned and from my own testing.

BTW, Duncan says he has shipped six TW12's on this GB to date, with several more interested calls. He's very happy with the GB results.

iCloud and ios5 both came out today?!!!!

iCloud and ios5 both came out today?!!!!

Yeah where you been the past 3 hours?! :D

10AM this morning launched 10.7.2 for OSX Lion which brought iCloud. At the same time iOS 5.0 was released for iPad/iPhone which brought iCloud.

Yesterday they launched iTunes 10.5 with iCloud and iOS 5.0 support.

Start updating, it's awesome!

Ordered mine yesterday! Shipped today.

Now to just go pick up my slee front from powder coating tomorrow!

Glad i'm on 3rd shift to spend my day driving 11 hrs to go get it!

I thought iCloud was coming today but when I looked this morning it still said coming soon. I didn't realize IOS5 was coming out today too. Hot damn!!!!
Where have I been? Working son!!!!

Umm, cloud computing has been on android for well over two years. ;)

Yeah, and who uses it!? ;)

Having something available, and having some actually useful are two different things. The fact that Apple's iCloud is used across their entire OSX and iOS product family brings in a WHOLE new world of functionality then just having it on a android phone or tablet.

Back to winches. I got some great info on the phone from Duncan on all the questions regarding mounting of the fairlead. I'm going to do some test fitting soon as possible. I've got to work late tonight and much of the weekend so not sure when but soon as I can.

Good news, the TW12 gearbox can easily be "clocked" to move the handle to the upward position for us who have the ARB 03+ bumper with feet forward mounting. However with that said, this is not a must, you can easily reach the handle through the bumper opening with it in the rearward position.
