In my 65 years on this Earth...I've never spotted an Orphan valve stem cap anywhere. Not in a parking lot, driveway, curbside. Certainly not 'all over the landscape'. Can't be much of a problem (in Texas anyway). ;)

Next time you're at the local "big box" tire store (Discount Tire, Big O, etc), wander over in front of the shop doors and look on the ground. I was at a Town Fair Tire back in May getting my TPMS re-registered, I probably picked up at least a dozen and I quit looking.

No doubt. Same way you'd expect to see cardboard boxes behind Walmart, but not all over the place elsewhere.

Fair enough, but 'Old' starts about 50....so for at least 50 years, I haven't seen it. Not a problem.

As for age....I prefer to think that I am 20 years old (with 45 years experience).

Hell....in today's society I can 'identify' with whatever I want, right?

No worries
As for age Im right there with you ...... Peter Pan Syndrome........so it all good what ever you think or what anyone else does as long as it does not impact my life. 👍 👍

Did you find any No-Loss:flipoff2:

What LC do you own with metal? The only metal stems I have seen on a LC is one with TPMS.

when I speak of metal I mean the metal where the actual valve is, not the rubber insert, my point is that a metal cap on that metal valve stem in the rocks causes problems vs. a standard plastic cap, the metal cap on metal stem fatigues the stem over time, the caps I had before were just aftermarket ones, I have since removed them

Understood I see you have not need for our No-Loss caps.

Just add some fancy valve stem protection to your wheels, to ward off those pesky rocks. Problem solved. :hillbilly:

Another yea vote here - I've had the metal ones on my 80 for the last several years and they've been great. No TPMS to contend with, so no worries there, and I'd be shocked if I could ever exceed the 80 mph limit in my rig - definitely no time travel for me.
