I have just replaced my intake/exhaust manifold gasket and have put it back together and it won't start. It revs, but will not turn over. No spark?
I have completed the following work that may impact the troubleshooting of this problem:
1. New plugs (pulled them and their tips are white ...... running lean?)
2. New Distributer cap, butten, and cables
3. Removed smog to get to intake
4. Pulled Carb to get to intake
5. Pulled intake and had it machined
6. Cleaned engine compartment with Gunk, Grease Grizzly, and water.
7. Put it all back together
8. Kept the air cleaner off and sprayed WD-40 while cranking, no dice
9. Tried the owners manual method and both with the choke in and out
Sorry if I missed a thread with my answer. I searched with not success.
I plan on diving back under the hood this afternoon. I am camping this weekend and want my truck back. Please help.
