Mystery gasket

Does anyone know where these go? There are two of these that came with a gasket set (manifold, oil pan, rear main seal etc.). Rubber impregnated cork.

I don't remember coming across these as I disassembled and cleaned parts.

Dumpster. Kits are always suspect.

They're just filler to keep pieces from bouncing around or getting crushed. Use 'em in your wine bottles.
