Last year the get-together was basically a 4 day event with Thursday and Sunday being travel days. This schedule seemed to work well. As always, your opinions are welcomed.

Windrock is most likely going to be the venue. Are there any preferences (Larry D.) over the weekends of 9/22, 9/29 or 10/6?
Thank you in advance for your input!
Peter

When is the EXPO EAST thingy?

The early interest has been good and once the logistics are worked out I will start comprising a list of those who plan to attend.
Feel free to send me a P.M. if you plan to attend.

The logistic are being "fine tuned" for the event and I should have an update by Monday.

Here's the scoop ......
The 3rd annual 70 Series "meet and greet" will be held at Windrock on September 22nd & 23rd with the 21st and 24th as travel days. The Comfort Inn in Oakridge, TN
has a Windrock rate and camping is available. If you plan to attend either post in this thread or send me a P.M.
Thanks, Look forward to seeing you there.

Despite being almost nonexistent on Mud this year due to work issues, I am in. I am also promising to make a couple of scouting / route planning trips this summer so the rides go a bit smoother than last year.

In other words, we have a professional guide. :)

I will be there, baring any last minute family issues. That said I will be driving down Friday after work and heading home Sunday afternoon to be back at work. This gives me some hard deadlines to get some Mx and things done!

Look forward to seeing you guys there. Just a reminder, if you plan to attend please post on this thread so we can get a head count.
Thanks

Based on early interest, there should be a good cross section of 70 Series present at this years event so if you are considering buying a 70 Series this would be a good opportunity to see, ride in and perhaps drive this Series of Land Cruisers.
We will gladly accept help spreading the word so if you have ideas, let's hear them. :)

Why not try to host the event every time in a different state, the hardcore guys will drive wherever and this makes it more open to the not so much involved 70 series owners.Plus side is also that everybody gets to explore more offroad parks.

Joe
I like Joe's idea. I am coming and wouldn't be surprised to see some other non-Southern non-gentlemen as well.

Lets have a party.

@orangefj45 owns two 7X and works on lots of them, @Delancy owns at least two @joekatana is an importer, @SteveJackson as well, Danny Cahn has at least one, etc. it could just be a hot mess of Westerners, Northerners, European tourists and general bad dudes from across the border. Even Ian (@RMP&O) could show up.

Just sayin........more the merrier and maybe it will spread.
