Some careful grinding, sanding, and very little filler needed. Love /hate sheetmetal work, but it is satisfying! Now onto the next side🙄

Another successful rubicon trip! What a trip it was, my son (15) drove 90% of the trail, including Soup Bowl!!! Things were smooth sailing until my fuel pump died right where my son is under the truck in the crack pic. We towed off of the precarious spot and got to flat land. So, we started to brainstorm and the first thought was, lets see if someone has a spare? Well, with my porsche background, I have been running a 911 carerra fuel pump!! Im thinking, there is no way we will find a compatible pump, but its an inline pump, so wasnt too worried about adapting whatever pump we could find. About 20 minutes later my buddy comes up the trail with a pump inhand! He went to the nearest camp with a bunch of highend built crawlers. To my amazement it was a bosch inline pump identical to mine!!!! 20 minutes later and we were back on the trail! Traded a 6 pack of beer for it!! We had a bear siting, and a great basin rattlesnake come right into a our campsite! Have been into snakes since I was 8 years old, so I had to check it out and relocate it to a safe area. We also had a crawdad feast at the springs where the kids managed to catch 30 by hand or with a net! Just a great 4 days with good food, friends, and everyone helping each other out on the trail! Cant wait for next year!
