Randy just called me and the PS pump blew up!
He is already at the auto parts store and should be on back on the road in a few hours.

I'll post some pictures of the "Welcome to Austin" Wrench fest we are having, later today.

SORRY ML AND FAMILY and AUSTIN CREW

So sorry guys, I gave it my best shot! After an all nighter I am still trucking along. The P/S pump is fixed after detonating about 2 miles from the house if that. The pieces fell out when I cracked it open. The FPR is bouncing causing the truck to stumble so I may have a clogged filter. Even though the tank was dipped I am sure there is still stuff floating in there. But since I didn't make it down and I owe all of you guys a lunch and a chance to see the truck. I can get you the later now...

The cover

I decided lightning bolts would look cool from the beginning so there they are. I think the Ghost has a little character now! And again I am sorry I din't make it down for the wrenching and good times. Sure wish I was there! Maybe next time I can get the ghost to kick it in gear! I should have it all worked out this week and ready for Saturday.

You

Make

Me

Sick

:flipoff2:

I tried your cell phone, and you never answered. Been waiting outside in my garage all morning for you to deliver.
:D
Worst part about these swaps is the moment you realize you need to order another $8-30 part. Puts everything on hold for another week, and drives the Mrs nuts.

SORRY been beating my head against the wall. I haven't found my phone yet. What are you up to? Give it a try again

Me? Working on putting my Grandparents Kaiser/Jeep J300 back together (intake/carb)...and spiffing up my Grizzly 700 for sale later tonight. Welded my neighbor's son's bicycle frame (and reinforced the seat post for the little monster). Seriously, when does a 185 lb 15 year old ride a children's BMX bike? Kid needs a wheelbarrow, a maddox, and about 200 hours of "thinking time".
Cruiser-wise- just waiting for a $12 part to finish the motor-swap electrical, and then its trouble shooting the lighting issue, then mounting up the ARB/M8000, then the Longfield front axle/knuckle rebuild, and then maybe the Poly Performance rear axle rebuild (but I'm looking for any alternative to PP for how they screwed several of us on IH8Mud).
I hope before I retire that I get to ride in the darn thing.

I know the feeling, Last weekend it was a French door on an exterior wall, Then work, Then trucks kids needing to play. Of which I always find some time to do that. You watch that bike welding will pay off when you are 80 and he remembers how nice you were. No worries you will be driving her in a few days. If you need anything drop me a line. I know ML wants to drive his!!

Well, I dont know whether you've notice my sig...
The person who said "patience is a virtue" didnt own a Cruiser. I dont have patience.
Its more like beating on a dead horse...or pig.
:shotts:

If I could live in my garage I would. My family would probably disown me! I want it done now and I can't do it all at once and I don't have enough room to put 2 cruisers side by side. ONE DAY A HUGE SHOP WILL BE MINE!! And I fully agree it is beating a dead horse!! Speaking of which I think my butt just dragged it's way through the door... I am calling it a day and get some sleep 24+ no sleep all cruiser... THAT WAS FUN AS HELL!!

yea well the good news of this is....

my truck will be ready to go wheeling tomorrow:steer:

changed diff fluid, gonna get new motor mount in and dif breathers extended later. im still freaking tired as hell only got a couple hours rest then it was cruiser time early this morning then issues and more issues with the ghost.

it will be ready soon Luis we are sorry but did give it the best we could. just think tho now it will be better when you get it less possibilities to worry bout later.

Does this truck have A/C? It looks like the A/C holes on the firewall have nothing hooked to them?

Zack

Randy,

It looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Your paint man did a great job on the lightning bolts. I love to drive during ligthing storms, especially at night and on the highway, so the color scheme on the cover fits perfectly...My wife/kids loved it too.

No worries on the delivery. I am glad it happened while you still have it...Thanks again to you & Trent for sacrificing your sleep to try to get my baby to me. Now get some sleep!

I got to meet quite a few of the local cruiserheads and a couple of their spouses -- great group of people! i look forward to getting together with them again soon.

Peace!

not currently just needs the 2 new hoses made up and recharged. but it will have a/c.

WOW! I feel much better now. Amazing what sleep does. Glad you like the truck and I will have it all worked out to this week and get it ready to go home. I like the signature line. HJ60 I know what you were going to say. Missing a bolt and the idler retainer. Just need to make one there and buy another bolt.

Zack I am going to have Austin rebuilders do the hoses. They do an awesome job on custom hoses and A/C work.

Glad everyone had a good time and I look forward to meeting up with you all. I wonder if Mark got any pic's?

Randy I cannot believe you are apologizing after creating a work of art.

Nice work, dude.

b56tlc- Thanks I hate not making it come around like I promised and the guys were waiting for me in Austin for a wrench and greet. I think that would be fun. BTW HALLOWEEN IS OVER!! How is your shopping going?
