We all have parts whose origin or purpose eludes us. Post a pic here to tap into the vast pit of minutiae knowledge we call ONSC. Then hope for the best.

I’m guessing this thing is either from an 80 interior or possibly ANYTHING ELSE that has ever been made by man. I’m losing sleep over this one. Help.

it doesn't look 80 series, it could be a reinforcement bracket for a dash or seat

My guess is a seat bracket for a 40. It's just a guess though.

Looks like a mini seat bracket, but it’s very thin metal and much smaller. I’m with Eric J thinking dash support from something...if it’s evena car part.

Yeah, man. That feeling gets even worse when you find the part in a box of truck parts, guitar parts, old remote controls, kitchen stuff, etc......that you found in a box of truck parts.

Found it. 94-97 ABS Module Bracket. And it turns out there's a company that uses it as a mounting point for an AUX fuse block.

I knew I had seen that part before! When I was chasing down the short on my 80 I was all up underneath the dash and spoltted it multiple times.
