very cool !

Hello Mud. I just want to share with You guys that after 18 years away from the USA, i came back to visit my dad, it was a short week in Texas, but was able to do many things and catch up with Friends and family. So gratefull to see my dad again and share with him precious time.

I was amazed at how beatyful the USA is, every american should be proud to have such great country with endless oportunities and great people.

On my stay i visited @aljollano on Cedar park. He is a good friend of mine and i was delighted to see that his shop is on the right track. And also was amazed at some of your rigs. Next time i hope to meet some of the members of the Austin chapter.

Thank You @aljollano, wish You the Best on your shop and hope You guys visit him.

There Will be more hut adventures to come soon.... Take care all!

Hi Mud, just came back from the hut last week, it was very dry, no mud or puddles, just dust and sun, but great to be there as always, the 80 series doing a great job taking us there and back.

No major improvements to the hut, just enjoying the time while I can.

Planning to come back in a month to build a couple of concrete floors, a more comfortable kitchen and just regular maintenance.

Thanks all fo keeping up.

Thanks for the update, Juancho! Good to hear from you! Is it normal for your area to be dry this time of the year? Here in the state of Oregon (USA), we're going through a wet spring, which is normal for us. It's just amazing how diverse the weather can be, along the Pacific coast of the Americas and vary from one hemisphere to another. The cycles of El Nino and La Nina keep us guessing - and on our toes...;). Good luck on your continuing improvements to The Land Cruiser Hut!👍

Also I was scrolling back through your thread and I saw this pic you posted:

I recently built this model kit:

And somehow I chose to paint it the same color (faded of course for age and the weathered effect)...lol In the gallery pics for that Land Cruiser model, there are pics of my build. I'm tbridge1234 on this site. Here is a pic in case you can't access the Hobbylinc website. Share any of this with your friend if you want.

Hello man, thanks for the message, yes, we have been going through a long dry season, yesterday started to rain again and hopefully the dams will get to a decent level as we are on the verge of a blackout, the current socialist government is doing a very poor job managing the country´s resources, the hut did not have any rain for four months and that is hard for the people. specially when your water reserve at your house is lower than 2.000 liters in average and no sewers or aqueduct in this region takes a toll.

That is a nice model kit you put together, looks awesome!

Take care.
