Wow, those rigs look to be in good shape! What is the name that changes on the bottom of the licence tags? Is it the province or state that they're registered in? I'm assuming they're all Columbia plates.

Yes man. It is the name of the city they are registered.
Medellín, Envigado etc...

This thread is great. Replies are focusing on simplicity and beauty, but I also see a man with family and small kids planning and conducting a complicated logistical operation over great distance in time and space with limited material resources. You even manage to do charity and rebuild a 40. I barely manage to cross my yard and visit the 80 in my garage in between work and kindergarden/school. You are a man of great personal resources. Hats off!

Thanks man. I try to live my life to the fullest, if I had to wait to have a lot of money to do things, it would be impossible. So i work with what i have...
Colombia is a great country despite all the social problems.
Things have been hard but there are always oportunities waiting to happen.
So this said im happy to let you guys know that next tripis being planned. Hopefully first week of april.
Thanks again!

Thanks for remembering us. Often I think about retiring in Columbia. I probably couldn’t take my guns with me but on positive note, there is a land cruiser hut there for me to find.... 😁

Got snow??

Am I missing something ? I'm not seeing anything in the lower right side of the picture.
Keep the posts coming.
I’m seeing the whole picture.....

Hello Mud. Thanks all for keeping up, yesterday i encounter this beautyfull 73 series. One my friends bought it and it sure is a nice rig.

Next week on monday i make the road trip with my uncle to the land Cruiser hut. He will stay at his place while i paint the wood on the hut. We gather for breakfast, lunch and dinner, some rum at night.

Need to make a septic tank

The 100 series will be the vehicle in charge of taking us there.
being a full invite i accept to leave the 80 series and become a passenger in the hundy so i can enjoy the landscape and enjoy a full invite as all expensed are paid by Uncle Mau.

This sketch illustrates the next upgrade of the hut. A kitchen in the back.
